Description:

• A strong alkaline, white powder detergent composed of wetting agents, chelating agents, and scientifically compounded chemical ingredients.

• Very effective in removing rust, iron sulfide, grease, oil and paint in one single operation. 

• 100% soluble, assuring complete use of tank concentration.

• Extends tank life.

• Kills germs and bacteria.

• The USDA has declared this product acceptable for use in soak tanks or with steam or mechanical cleaning devices in all departments of official establishments operating under the mechanical cleaning devices in all departments of official establishments operating under the Federal meat, poultry, shell egg grading, and egg products inspection programs.

Usage:

• Food processing plant cleaning:  Steel Brite is very effective in cleaning hard to clean areas, hard to reach places, corners, and walkways.  Clean floors, walls and equipment of heavy grease and oils.  Sprinkle on and agitate.  Then rinse.  It will break down animal fats.  Afterwards, sanitize with Phos Kote.

• Formulated for use in hot tank operations to remove rust, oil, grease, paint and related soils from ferrous metals.  Great for cleaning cooking racks in food processing plants.

• Recommended to be used at 1 LB per gallon of water in a hot vat operation.  Amount may depend upon temperature of hot tank and the soil to be removed.

• May also be used in cold tanks but may require a larger concentration to attain desired results.

• CAUTION:  Add Steel Brite to hot tank very slowly to prevent boil-over.  Wear protective clothing and eye protection at all times.

• DO NOT use to clean brass, die-cast parts, aluminum, tin, galvanized zinc, or bronze.  Always test small area before cleaning.
