PARTS WASHER CLEANING PRODUCTS GIANT manufactures and distributes environmentally safe cleaning products specially formulated for use in all types of aqueous, enclosed cabinets with turntables or jet washer cabinets and heated, re-circulating soak vats. These products will clean engine parts, engine heads and blocks and transmissions made of aluminum and ferrous metals. They also allow you to RECYCLE your rinse water so that you have less disposal of hazardous waste.
NOSW Program can be used by anyone using parts washers, jet washers and heated and
re-circulating vats. This program is very effective in cleaning engines, parts, and equipment
made of aluminum and ferrous metal.
For maximum cleaning, it is recommended that the temperature of the water solution be kept at approximately 180º F. However, the products will work at lower or higher temperatures depending on the type of soil being cleaned. To keep these products in a recycling mode, water levels should be kept at the proper level and the cleaning products should be added regularly to ensure excellent, on-going cleaning.
These 3 products have been tested extensively in parts washers and has proven to clean ferrous metal and aluminum without attacking the aluminum, when used as directed. When cleaning other soft metals, you should test a small area or part first and observe its results.
This solution is designed to be economical with excellent cleaning results. To continue in a recycling mode, a weekly addition of 5% of the initial charge is recommended on a regular basis. A 3% variation may be used depending on the type of soil removed, the length of time used, and the desired results.
Add the powder to the water in the solution tank circulating the water for about 5 minutes to ensure that the powder disolves and goes into solution. This product will go into solution very easily.

Usage:
Initial charge for heavy-duty cleaning...
Natural Orange Spray Wash - 1/4 lb to 1 lb per gallon of water
Natrual Orange Surfactant Blend - 1 gallon per 100 gallons of water
Inhibited Booster - 1 gallon per 200 gallons of water, only use when directed by Giant in special cases.
For example, if paint removal is not necessary, booster is not needed.

A powder which is specially formulated for parts washing in all types of aqueous, enclosed cabinets with turntables and /or conveyer belts or in heated, re-circulating soak vats. It cleans all types of engines and engine parts, engine heads, blocks and transmissions made of aluminum and ferrous metals. It lifts hydrocarbons and oils so that is can be skimmed from the wash water and it drops solids for easy removal either manually or by filtering. This product is designed to clean all types of metal with excellent rinsing and corrosion protection, without foaming and is safe, non-toxic, and non-hazardous cleaner. It is highly concentrated for maximum cleaning performance. By following Giants recommendation of usage, you will save time, energy and expense of disposal of waste water.

Natural Orange Surfactant Blend (NOSB)
Unit of Issue: 6 gallon pail
A liquid blend of highly concentrated citrus and water soluble solvents and surfactans which contains no water or dissolved solids. It aids NOSW in removing oil and light carbon soils from aluminum and ferrous metals in all types of aqueous, enclosed cabinets with turntables and /or conveyer belts or in heated, re-circulating soak vats. It was formulated for use in combination with NOSW and helps to prevent flash rusting of clean parts yet leaves no residual on the surface of the clean parts. It is safe to be used on all types of engines and engine parts, blocks and transmissions made of aluminum and ferrous metal.

Inhibited Booster
Unit of Issue: 6 gallon pail
A liquid blend of highly concentrated alkaline builders, potassium hydroxide and neutralizing surfactants. It is used in combination with NOSW and NOSB to boost the intensity for extreme cases of cleaning and is excellent in aiding NOSW in the removal of paints. It keeps alkalinity at a level for fast cleaning of oil, grease and dirt. This product is only used in specialized circumstances and as directed by Giant.
